Is your car worth the trouble?
First thing to do is to find out how much it will cost you. Is your car old? From there you can do a simple computation. Consider the resale value as against the amount needed to change your car’s color.
Is your car’s depreciated value is over 25%? If your answer is yes, then, it is not a good idea. You might end up with a lot of debt after. Remember that even if a new paint can give that new look to your car, painting it cannot assist your engine to be any better. Consider the age of your car and its mileage. This only means that the overall health of your car is the top priority when it comes to having that kind of resale value. So, what is nice outside, must also be nice inside.

In the United States, white has a 35% tops the list. Black is only preferred by 17%, and silver & grey only have 12%. This is not just true in the U.S., but in Asia and Europe as well. So, if you already have a white car, it is not wise to paint it to another color because obviously it has a big effect on its resale value.
Give Weight on the Geography to Get a Good Resale Value
As you consider this, take into account the climate in the place where you live. If you live in a place where sunshine is around in the entire year, you need to use the A/C when you drive. In which case, a good color are either silver or white because reflects light Plus, you will use little fuel for your A/C because these two colors do not soak up a lot of heat.
On the other hand, if you live in a cold place, you use the heater when you drive. Therefore, dark color such as black because it soaks up heat. Hence, your vehicle will utilize little fuel for the heater. It is therefore, safe to say that in cold places, darker colors are a must.
